Ski-VM 2011 has entered into a cooperation agreement with the car dealership Birger N. Haug AS. The agreement will provide 33 Nissan vehicles to the FIS World Cup from the 12th to 14th of March, 2010.

The agreement allows Ski-VM 2011 to use the cars for various event purposes, such as transporting athletes, officials and equipment. The cars will be branded with the official World Cup design giving them high visibility in traffic. After Ski-VM 2011 is finished with the cars a few days after the World Cup weekend, they will be sold to the public through a special campaign.

Specific cooperation agreements with this type of supplier are important for Ski-VM 2011. According to Manager for Transport and Logistics, Bjørn Morten Vold, this agreement will contribute to a professional implementation with the best possible quality.

- These cars match our needs, before, during and after the World Cup event. We are very happy that Birger N. Haug is contributing these resources. The drivers are now looking forward to doing their job, so that the athletes and teams can have a great experience here at Holmenkollen, says Vold.

Birger N. Haug has worked closely with the skiing community, especially the Association for the Promotion of Skiing (Skiforeningen), for many years. They are very satisfied with the cooperation agreement.

- The agreement with Ski-VM 2011 provides us with an excellent opportunity to market our products to a key target group for Nissan. We are convinced that this type of cooperation will be positive for both parties, and look forward to offering popular Nissan World Cup Edition cars, says Eva Henriette Næss, Sales Director in Birger N. Haug.
