Åsne Havnelid has a Masters Degree in business economics and broad experience within sports and business life. She is former Vice President Cabin Operations in SAS, with leadership responsibility for the cabin staff in SAS Braathens/SAS Norway, related to the merger and integration process of the two companies. Åsne was also Manager of the Top Sport Program in Norway and Deputy Chef de Mission of the Norwegian Olympic Games group during five Olympic Games. She has been Director of the Top Sport Center, President of the Norwegian College of Elite Sport, and has experience from management development and performance related processes in business life directed by the Top Sport Program in Norway and the Centre of Performance Development.

Adelheid B. Sæther

Adelheid Sæther has studied at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management, and has a long and wide experience in travel business. Adelheid's previous position was managing director in Skanplus Hotel Pass. She is also experienced within fields such as event, sale and marketing from Tusenfryd, and in addition to that, she has had various positions within sale and marketing at Choice Hotels during an expansion period; the hotel chain grew from 12 to 100 hotels. Adelheid has always been an active sportswoman, both as a trainer and an athlete.

Stein Opsal

Stein Opsal has a master's degree in business economics from BI. His previous position was managing director and founder of a telecommunication company named Carrot Communications ASA, which merged with Opplysningen 1881 earlier this year. Stein has also wide experience as managing director in two Telenor companies, and as a CFO in VG. He has always been a very active skier, but this is the first time he gets to use this engagement and interest professionally.

Egil Storaas

Egil Storaas is a qualified market and business economist, and has a great deal of experience from the media and communication sectors. Egil has formerly worked for the newspaper Aftenposten and the publishing house Ernst G. Mortensens Forlag, and has developed the sales and marketing divisions at TV2, as the TV channel's first Marketing Director. He has been Managing Director of the media agency Mediacom and National Manager for the Norwegian activities of the Grey Global Group. For the last three years, Egil has run his own consultancy business for organisational development, sales, media and communication. He has a close connection to Holmenkollen and the Marka area, and wants to use his experience and interest in ski sports in the work he is now starting.

Roy Evensen

Roy Evensen is an army officer with a military education from the Officer Training School, the Norwegian Military Academy and the Staff College. The last few years he has worked with management training and management development at the Norwegian Military Academy. Evensen has served internationally with the UN, worked one year in Kosovo in the Balkans, and has experience from the Middle East after one year in Lebanon. He has been Event Manager for the Federation for the Promotion of Skiing for 4 years, with responsibility amongst other things for the World Cup Nordic, World Cup Biathlon, Children's Holmenkollen Ski Event, Holmenkollen Ski Marathon, the Summer Concert and Ta Sjansen, as well as actively taking part in the local skiing and football community at Røa IL. Roy Evensen has 7 years service in His Majesty the King's Guards, and had the responsibility amongst other things for coordinating military support for the Holmenkollen Ski-festival. He established the sports corps in HM the King's Guards and was its leader for two years.

John Aalberg

John arrived to the Oslo2011 organizing committee  from 6 years in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Committee as their Director of Nordic Sports and the Venue Manager for the Whistler Olympic Park. John was also Chief of Competition and responsible for design and management of  the Cross-Country venue for the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City 1997 – 2002. He was appointed by FIS as Technical Delegate for the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, for the 2007 Nordic World Championship in Sapporo, as well as for numerous World Cup competitions during  the last 10 years.  He is also a consultant for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Committee. John grew up in Stjørdal in the middle part of Norway, completed a degree at the Norwegian College of Sports in Oslo, but moved to USA in 1983 where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.  John competed as a Cross-Country skier, medalled at the Norwegian National Championship, was American Champion 5 times, and participated for USA in the 1992 and 1994 Olympic Games in Albertville and Lillehammer.

Mari Rosenvinge Nygaard

Mari Rosenvinge Nygaard has been working for Norwegian Shell for 15 years, most recently as a manager for the Motorist Retail market. Mari has also worked with Human Resources for Shell, where she amongst other things functioned as training manager for the Motorist Retail market, developing and carrying out training programmes and management training. She also brings with her a great deal of experience in recruitment, management and large restructural processes, and will use her experience in human development in her job for Ski-VM 2011. Mari graduated as a business economist from the University of Manheim in Germany.

Lasse Ottesen

Lasse Ottesen is an former Norwegian ski jumper. He boasts eight podium placements in the World Cup, and set a world record in ski flying hill in Planica (212 meters) in 1997. In 1994 he took Olympic silver medal in the individual large hill in Lillehammer, only beaten by countryman Espen Bredesen. Ottesen has also worked as a jumping coach for the U.S. nordic combined national team, and been an assistant coach for the Norwegian ski jumping national team.

Tove Indgjerd

Tove Indgjerd has 20 years of experience from the public sector, and before she joined Ski-VM AS she was head of the Mayor’s Office in Oslo Municipality. She has also worked for the Ministry of Culture’s sports department, as well as taking part as a volunteer and sports representative for several years. She is now looking forward to working in sports once again. Tove is a political scientist, and graduated from the University of Bergen with a major in Administration and Organisation Theory.

Nina Horn Hynne has provided public relations and information consulting services since 1992. Before joining Ski-VM 2011, she was an independent consultant in public relations and communications. In 2003 she was one of the founders of PR-operatørene, a successful public relations agency specialising in marketing PR. Nina has previously been an information consultant in JKL Oslo (formerly Woldsdal & Partners) and in Geelmuyden.Kiese. She has also been a journalist for the marketing journal Kampanje. Nina has a degree in public relations and journalism from the University of Oregon, USA.
